๐ŸŒˆ RSC Pink๐Ÿ’—

The Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color for April is pink!!! Here are my blocks:
I'm making blocks from the pattern Scrap Happy Rainbow Connection by Amy Smart! You can find it in Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine, Issue 85 ⤵️, too!!!
My blocks are 12" unfinished, 11 1/2" finished!!! Here are a few of my blocks, because we all love examining the prints in scrap quilts!!! The background is Grunge! ⤵️
I'm working through my scrap strip basket, making as many blocks as I can for the color of each month. I was able to make 18 blocks this month!!! Here's my count so far:

January:           Red                   9 blocks
February:         Teal/Aqua        21 blocks
March:             Yellow/Gold     16 blocks
April:                 Pink                18 blocks

Not the final layout!!! ⤵️ These will make several quilts--check back at the end of the year to see how I mix them up!

Check out all the Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects at Scrap Happy Saturday!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  11. I really love how these blocks look! I just may have to play with this design as a change from the traditional string blocks.

  12. I think I need to go shopping, I don't have a single pink fabric in you blocks =). They are looking lovely up on the wall. What fun quilts they will make.

  13. Lovely pink blocks, and I can spot some Japanese beautiful prints. I think I have the same fabric with little bricks, on the 4th block, that looks like a roof, or a wall. Love it!
Thank you for sharing, and linking up ;)

  26. You sure have lots of pink scraps! I couldn't come up with enough to make even one block such as yours. You're collecting quite an array of colors, and will surely have lots of layout options at year's end. And doesn't Grunge go with many things? It's a nice go-to when a quilter wants something other than a solid. Keep up the lovely work!
