2 Quilts🍃by Kyle

Two quilts--one snuggly soft and the other colorful!!!
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Kyle
Pattern: Honor from Villa Rosa Designs
Fabrics: Twilight Garden Flannel from Henry Glass
Size: 60" x 79"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Tabriz Orchid
Pantograph: Meandering Jasmine ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Interesting Info: Our LQS, where Kyle and I both work, got only 5 fabrics in this line. Kyle did a great job coming up with a pattern that uses all 5 prints in a beautiful, balanced way!!!
A Minkee back makes this flannel quilt extra cuddly!!!⤵️

  1. Honor is a great pattern to use larger scale prints in. Great job on both quilts ladies, you make a great combo!

  3. Both quilts are lovely and great uses of the fabric. I haven't seen a Washi Tape quilt in awhile and do like it. Honor is a fabulous pattern, a reminder to look that one up or one like it for some leftover William Morris I have. The leave panto is perfect for the Honor quilt. Amoebas is a lot of fun too, interesting but not overwhelming on this graphically strong quilt. You and Kyle do good work together.

  4. They're both very pretty, but with my love of bright colors, my heart goes right to the "Washi Tape" quilt. Well done, Kyle!

  5. Wow, that ribbon style quilt is stunning! My brain hurts from trying to figure out the piecing. LOL! And the snuggly quilt is a great use of the fabric line. Love the quilting on that one. Thanks for linking up with TGIFF.

  6. Beautiful quilts! When I read the name of the quilting pattern, Meandering Jasmine, I was very intrigued. And yes, I'm charmed by this exuberance of leaves, so pretty, and it looks so great with these lovely floral fabrics! I love the second quilt too, and how Kyle mixed the two fabric collections. Fabulous quilt, and your quilting looks very elegant!
Thank you for sharing your inspirational work!

  8. Nice quilts. I need to check out Honor as it does work well with a big print. Nice job quilting on both quilts.

  9. Kyle has an eye for grouping fabrics into wonderful combinations as well as pairing the combination with a pattern that highlights the fabric. Your quilting compliments the piecing beautifully!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
