Honor is a great pattern to use larger scale prints in. Great job on both quilts ladies, you make a great combo!
ReplyDeleteBoth wonderful! I love seeing the beautiful quilts you two create together!
ReplyDeleteBoth quilts are lovely and great uses of the fabric. I haven't seen a Washi Tape quilt in awhile and do like it. Honor is a fabulous pattern, a reminder to look that one up or one like it for some leftover William Morris I have. The leave panto is perfect for the Honor quilt. Amoebas is a lot of fun too, interesting but not overwhelming on this graphically strong quilt. You and Kyle do good work together.
ReplyDeleteThey're both very pretty, but with my love of bright colors, my heart goes right to the "Washi Tape" quilt. Well done, Kyle!
ReplyDeleteWow, that ribbon style quilt is stunning! My brain hurts from trying to figure out the piecing. LOL! And the snuggly quilt is a great use of the fabric line. Love the quilting on that one. Thanks for linking up with TGIFF.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts! When I read the name of the quilting pattern, Meandering Jasmine, I was very intrigued. And yes, I'm charmed by this exuberance of leaves, so pretty, and it looks so great with these lovely floral fabrics! I love the second quilt too, and how Kyle mixed the two fabric collections. Fabulous quilt, and your quilting looks very elegant!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your inspirational work!
So different and yet both are really great quilts. Kyle does a great job choosing fabrics and color.
ReplyDeleteNice quilts. I need to check out Honor as it does work well with a big print. Nice job quilting on both quilts.
ReplyDeleteKyle has an eye for grouping fabrics into wonderful combinations as well as pairing the combination with a pattern that highlights the fabric. Your quilting compliments the piecing beautifully!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteI love both of these, Nancy! Great quilting on them as well! I've never tried working with minkee. I hear it stretches??! Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings!
ReplyDeleteLove the purple quilt and the other one is pretty and very unique! Hugs
ReplyDeleteBoth quilts are spectacular and the quilting is amazing! Love the jasmine quilting in the floral quilt- just gorgeous!
