Panel Quilts

Susan, who is a whiz at panel quilts, has a couple more to share here!
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Susan
Pattern: Happy Haunting by Whimsical Quilts
Size: 37" x 56"
Batting: Warm & White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Spring Thing ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
This is Susan's second Chicka Chicka Boom Boom quilt--she gifted the first one, then wanted one for herself!
Here's the backing she chose, ⤵️ part of the same fabric line, another panel!!!
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Susan
Size: 37" x 56"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Nickel
Pantograph: Seuss Trees ⤵️ from 627 Handworks
Susan made this for her friend using a Paul Bunyan panel from the Quilt Minnesota shop hop in August, 2024!!!⤵️
Pine trees for quilting is a natural choice for Paul Bunyan!⤵️
Paul Bunyan is a Minnesota tradition! He's pretty much our state mascot. And don't forget Babe the blue ox--can't have one without the other! My grandfather was a lumberjack in the winter months during his younger years, along with his brothers!
Super fun quilts, Susan!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. Both quilts are fun! I love how you match the quilting with the theme, joyful loops are perfect for the alphabet quilt and trees are perfect for the big guy ;) Thank you for sharing!

  5. Lovely as always. Great the way the front and backing matched from the same range for the Chicka Boom quilt. So bright and colourful.
And I love the tree quilting in the second quilt. A perfect match.

  10. What cute panels! Yep, Susan is the queen! Love how you quilted each one, especially when you used the tree motif on Paul Bunyon. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

  11. Well, you know I love the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom quilt, but the Paul Bunyan and Minnesota panel is really fun! I've never seen a Colorado panel, but I wonder if our relatively square state would make a very interesting design. :) Your quilting is always the perfect finish for each quilt, too!

  14. Wow, Susan’s quilts are absolutely stunning! I love the fun and creative choices for both the Happy Haunting and Paul Bunyan quilts. The attention to detail is impressive, and the fabric choices are perfect for each design. The backing fabric for the Happy Haunting quilt is such a lovely touch!

For an extra special and unique addition, how about decorating the space with Custom Neon Signs? They could add a personal and vibrant touch, whether you’re displaying a special quote or a custom design to complement the quilts.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful quilts, Nancy—so inspiring!
