Steamy Windows x 5

When Lynn gets a quilt pattern in mind, she's all in! She planned to make one Steamy Windows quilt and made 5!!!
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Steamy Windows from GE Designs
Size: 70" x 71"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Daisy Daze ⤵️ from Karlee Porter
Love this fun, modern pantograph and love how it looks on this quilt!!!
Lynn donated this quilt to an upcoming silent auction to benefit the youth at her church!
A very pretty quilt indeed!!! And a generous donation!
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Steamy Windows from GE Designs
Size: 57" x 72"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Benay's Herringbone ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
We were going for texture for quilting this quilt. It's going to a couple that will be wed in May!
Love how the quilting shows up so clearly on minkee!!!
Lynn trimmed the minkee backing at 1 1/2", folded it over twice and stitched, to finish off this and the next three quilts! Easy binding!!!

Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Steamy Windows Supersized from GE Designs
Size: 39" x 48"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--Blush
Pantograph: Baby Animals ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Lynn had a piece of 90" wide x 2 yards, blush-colored minkee for the backing of this baby quilt. It seemed like a waste to use it for one baby quilt. So, she quickly threw together another baby quilt, this time in Steamy Windows Supersized, which goes together quicker. Then I quilted them side-by-side!
These quilts went to a new mom-to-be and the grandma-to-be, one each!!! Lynn gave them the choice of which one gets which quilt!
Quilt Info #5:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Steamy Windows from GE Designs
Size: 56" x 73"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Sand Dollars and Starfish ⤵️ from TK Quilting and Design
This is the quilt that started it all for Lynn--she wanted to make this Steamy Windows quilt for her friend's graduation gift. Her friend is all about neutral colors, so the quilt is in light grays and taupes.
This friend lives in southern California, combined with the beachy vibes of the quilt, we decided on shells and sand dollars for the quilting! The minkee back is an ivory color.
Here's the full-sized view.⤵️ Gudrun of GE Designs helped Lynn pick and coordinate the low volume fabrics for this quilt. It was brilliant watching her combine different shades and textures!
Wonderful quilt gifts, Lynn, made with much love!!!

I am loving all the pantographs you used.
I thought the daisies were gorgeous, then I saw those super cute baby animals, and then along came the stunning little sand dollars. You have a wonderful range of designs.

  11. Love how a different pantograph is chosen for each quilt. The "daisy" particularly caught my eye. I had to figure out how one daisy linked to the next with so much space between. Found the horizontal line. :)

  12. Hi Nancy! Wonderful Quilting!!! Love the minky too==I have never used minky on the back of a quilt--is it hard to load on the longarm--too stretchy?
