Here are 2 Jolee quilts, both started on February 15, 2025, during the Jolee Live Quilt Along!!!
Quilt Info #1:
Lynn chose Grinch fabric for a boy who loves the movie!!!
A minkee backing is perfect for Christmas in Minnesota!
I normally trim the batting and backing 1/8" from the edge at no extra charge for my clients, except when it comes to minkee. I think you can imagine why--trimming minkee is a big fuzzy mess! Plus, the quilt maker might want to turn the minkee backing to the front for a soft self-binding, in which case one needs to trim at 1 1/2" or more.
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Bonnie
Pattern: Jolee from GE Designs
Size: 66" x 81"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Select
Thread: Glide--Tango
Pantograph: Mackintosh Rose ⤵️
Bonnie used a fabric line called "Fable" by Jill Finley from Riley Blake Designs, featuring coral, green and grey/black prints!
I was inspired by the rose in the black print ⤵️ to quilt this with the Mackintosh Rose pantograph. They look very similar!Cute whimsical animals are included in the pink and grey prints above--leaping deer, rabbits, quails, raccoons, bunnies, skunks, foxes and swans.
Such cute colors!!!
Wonderful Jolee finishes!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
Both quilts are quite pretty. I always love Christmas colors, and that minkee backing is so rich! I especially love the coral and green combo of the second one, and of course your quilting on both is spectacular. :D
ReplyDeleteAll three of you gals did fabulous work. I still get amazed every time you post minkee backing showing the quilting detail!
ReplyDeleteI really like that Jolee design! Looks like it works well to highlight fun fabrics and prints. The Grinch quilt is just great! Pretty quilting, too, Nancy!
