The May Rainbow Scrap Challenge is green. I'm working on a nine-patch and snowball quilt for the RSC in 2025, inspired by Saija's quilt, here. Saija was inspired by Blue Elephant Stitches, here!!! I made 10 light/bright green 9-patch blocks for May:Check out these close-ups of my 9-patches and let me know if you have any of the same prints: Some are new, some are old, some are from Japan...There are repeats, but not within one block. It all depends on what I have in my scrap 2 1/2" squares bin at the time. One more photo of all 10 blocks... I also have green 2 1/2" strips. Those will come later this month as jelly roll race quilts!
Linking up with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge at So Scrappy on Saturday.
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

I don't recognize any of the fabric as ones I have. I smiled at the flying Snoopy!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any prints I have, but I love the Snoopy one and the one with the little hexagons. I had saved that pattern and photo from the first time I read about it here on your blog. It is in my future!
ReplyDeleteIt’s amazing. Green is a favorite color and I have two scrap baskets and an overflow bin and I still don’t have any that are the same as yours. I’m partial to the polka dots and ones with letters or words, but I gotta love Snoopy too!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of green in my scraps. . .but, not one that matched with yours. isn't that amazing? I know it really isn't; but, still. . .!!!! What a great groups of blocks!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteGreat job with these scraps! I see one or two I may have had, or maybe we sold it in the store...so it must have made it to my stash at some point. You are already into your May projects - what a good girl!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any of those pretty prints in my stash. Way to go dipping your fingers in the green already!
ReplyDeleteThese will make a great snowball quilt similar to the other two. Three quilts (or more) from the same pattern and they're never the same. So many beautiful fabrics, all different.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe, since I have more green fabrics than any other hue, but I don't have a single duplicate with you. You are off to a great start in May.
ReplyDeleteAll those pretty green blocks! You've been busy! I don't recognise any of your greens. Isn't it amazing how many different fabrics there are ?!
ReplyDeleteAwesome green blocks! I only saw a couple of greens that looked familiar. You did a great job of avoiding those repeats.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see your fresh and pretty green blocks, Nancy! I did find some that I've had in my stash and that always makes me smile. In your first close-up photo, the block on the top right has the roundish green leaves with dots by them. That is a favorite of mine. I wonder what I used it in, lol!
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks, and some fabrics are fun! Love the little bunnies too. I love how you mix all these prints, colors and values together, into beautiful blocks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing them and linking up!
Yep, I saw two fabrics that I did have the same but in different colorways. Of course you just had to remind me that I also have a Nine patch and Snowball RSC project (although a different design) that needs tending to. One of these days I hope to get back and join you all in the RSC fun!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are very beautiful... I don't have any of your fabric, but I've only been with Quilt & Co. for two years. Yesterday I worked with the free-cutting technique and curves... wonderful, I think the free-cutting technique is my favorite... best wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteHappy May.
Yay for green, a print color that's running very low in my stash. Still, I found ONE print that you and I have the same. :-) I admire you using-up scraps in such an effective way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of fun greens!
ReplyDeleteI have used many green fabrics in the past, but I don't recognize any of these. Your nine-patches are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is going to be lovely! Love your fussy cut squares! I didn’t see any of the same prints, but love your Snoopy and frog squares! Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteSo many fabulous fabrics. I had to smile at the Snoopy fabric. He was always one of my favorite characters. Your blocks looks fantastic, Nancy. Enjoy your week. Hugs.

ReplyDeleteFun scrap buster. I started that one as well. I have the houndstooth fabric, but in red.
Lovely greens. It is fun to see the little Snoopy prints in the mix. THat made me smile.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you chose mostly yellow greens. Are you going to do some bluer greens also? When I was deciding on my blocks for RSC I made dark green blocks so maybe I'll try one in lighter more yellow based blocks now. I love the fun center squares on some of the blocks. You are really ahead of schedule!
ReplyDeleteThey look good! I love that all of the small pieces come together in a beautiful symphony of color. Thanks for sharing in Sew & Tell.
ReplyDeleteNone of my greens match yours! What a great variety! Love the Flying Ace! When I met my Hubster (over 40 years ago), I gave him a charm of Snoopy Joe Cool, because, of course, my man was as cool as Snoopy and his name is Joe. Snoopy Joe Cool has been a thing ever since. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice collection of green fabrics. Those blocks are going to make a great RSC quilt.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have any of these fabrics, but Snoopy sure made me smile. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
