9 Small Quilts--Mini to Baby

I have 9 small quilts to share with you today, eight made by me and one made by Quilter Bonnie!
I needed another photo for the 9 photo collage above, so I also included a photo of my labels I recently reordered from Dutch Label Shop. This time I ordered 300. Now, on to the quilts!

Quilt Info #1, #2, #3:
Maker: Me!
Fabric: Songbook by Fancy That Design House for Moda
Size: 7" x 9"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Freemotion Texture #1 ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Several of these small panels came in one large cut. There are others with different classic hymns featured, also, that I'll work on in the future.
The backing is a leftover piece from an IKEA linen duvet cover. ⤵️
These went to three quilt friends who each have June birthdays! I previously made one for myself, too, that is on display in our living room. The fox was carved by my Dad! ⤵️ I make the fabric twine from scrap 1" strips and use it to tie up gifts. The mini bolts are a 50th anniversary box from Moda which I was delighted to find at a quilt shop recently!
Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Me!
Fabrics: Denim & Daisy from Fig Tree & Co.
Size: 8" x 9"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--Azure
Pantograph: Honey Honey ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Honey, Honey is such a fun panto! Although the prints are so busy on this mini that the quilting doesn't show up. But, check out the backing, which is a Japanese kimono silk. ⤵️ You can clearly see the fun design of Honey, Honey on the back!!!
A super cute fabric line! But rather than Denim & Daisy, it should be called something like Denim & Day Lilies. Or Denim & Marigolds. What do you think? ⤵️
Quilt Info #5:
Maker: Bonnie
Pattern: Koby from GE Designs
Size: 40" x 60"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--White
Pantograph: Honey Honey ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
I used the Honey, Honey pantograph again on this sweet baby quilt, in a larger proportion.
Bonnie made this quilt for a couple who are having their first baby!
These fabrics are all flannels, front and back!
The nursery theme is "South American jungle", a place the couple has visited, with the specific mention of "sloth". What are the chances that Bonnie had this sloth fabric in her collection?!! ⤴️ Cute, sweet, and adorable, come to mind, Quilter Bonnie!!!
Quilt Info #6:
Maker: Me!
Fabrics: Strawberry Jam by Clara Jean for Dear Stella

This is the 2nd group of fabrics I received from the Lil' Bundle Club from GE Designs. For $14.95, one receives 12 coordinating fabrics that measure 6" x 22", enough to make 48-5" squares or any size strips, 6" or less. Together, the 12 cuts total one yard of fabric.

These strawberry themed fabrics are cute as the dickens!!!
Pattern: Traveling Table Topper from Rayche Gurl Designs of The Noble Quilter
Size: 19" x 44"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Strawberry Champagne ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Strawberry fabrics call for strawberry quilting: "Strawberry Champagne" pantograph.
This is the same pattern I used for my 1st Lil' Bundle--it lets the fabrics shine in larger pieces!
The backing is part of some leftover 108" fabric, just big enough to back a table runner.
I made this table runner one row longer, to fit our new coffee table from Costco! ⤵️
Quilt Info #7, #8, #9:
Maker: Me!
Fabrics: Strawberry Jam by Clara Jean for Dear Stella
Size: 8" x 9"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Modern Meander ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Once again I quilted all 3 minis together. That simplified things, rather than using 3 different pantos, which is what I tend to like to do.
The backing is an IKEA pillowcase--it came with a duvet cover that became a quilt back, so in the same way, the pillowcase is backing quilts!
I cut the leftover squares from my table runner, #6 above, into 2" squares and had enough for these 3 minis, with a few extra squares thrown in to give me 30-2" squares per mini! ⤵️
Small quilts are a fun way to get a quick finish and a special quilt gift, as well as a way to share love!!!
