This is a Quilt Minnesota panel from 2024. ⤵️ If you grew up in Minnesota, chances are you played "Duck, Duck, Grey Duck" in kindergarten, as I did. Most other states call it "Duck, Duck, Goose". Evidently "Duck, Duck, Grey Duck" is a carry over from the Swedish translation.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the Duck Duck variation, but evidently it is common enough to get its own quilt panel! LOL. Your quilting always enhances the designs. And what fun to find a panel she liked enough to make into a second quilt.
ReplyDeleteSusan did a fabulous job. I think Cabin rules are good for any day in my book. I love the border she did on that. Never heard of Duck Duck Grey Duck....but didn't grow up in MN...learn something new everyday. And, the halloween border, too is a fabulous one. Love the pantographs, too, on each quilt - you really make them come to life!
