I made my aqua blocks back in April! So I spent this month working on my white/cream snowball blocks for my 2025 RSC quilt. Plus, I made 4 scrap quilts for Bundles of Love. I tried to lean into "aqua" baby quilts, but sometimes color sneaks in!
I even got the background squares on the design wall! ⤵️ Now to fill in with the 9-patches I've been making all year. The finished size will be 66" x 90". My favorite throw size is 60" x 80", but sometimes one has to make adjustments according to the block size and design!
Here are the baby quilts I've made in between quilting quilts this month. I'm using the Honey Bouquet pattern from Villa Rosa Designs. I downsized it to fit the guidelines for Bundles of Love, a local group that delivers a bundle of newborn baby items to families in need.

ReplyDeleteI love your scrappy snowball corners, the flip-flops are cute, and these little bugs too ;) It's going to be a pretty rainbow quilt. I love the heart on the center of the Scallop Baptist Fan, so perfect for a donation baby quilt! Beautiful quilting and colors on your little quilts!
