Here's my latest personal finish, made from scraps of Japanese fabrics!!!🇯🇵
Quilt Info:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 60" x 80"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Graphite
I used a Japanese indigo stripe for the binding.⤴️
Here are close-ups of the prints. About 2/3 of them were acquired in Japan.
I downsized my rectangles a bit, using the same proportions, in order to get more rectangles out of my scraps.
The backing is half of an IKEA duvet cover.⤵️ Clouds are often used in Japanese art and folktales.I love this finish--so many great memories of the shops and locations these fabrics came from! It will be gifted to my friend who was also a missionary in Japan at the same time we were there.
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
