Baby Quilts πŸ’™ RSC

I was able to finish two more baby quilts this week. These are going to Bundle of Love, where they provide a bundle of baby items to families in need with newborns.
My Quilt Info #1:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 46"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe
Thread: Glide--Blue Variegated
Pantograph: Dreaming ⤵️ from OESD
I do love this quilting--a modern style meander. ⤴️⤵️
This quilt is a combo of blue, teal and a bit of green. It features butterflies, teddy bears and bamboo.
For backing, I used a neutral flannel, to give it some extra softness. ⤵️ Scrappy binding finishes it off.
My Quilt Info #2:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 46"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe
Thread: Glide--Blue Variegated
Pantograph: Amoebas Gone Wild ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
I went for a more typical meander on this quilt--"Amoebas Gone Wild".
This quilt is blue, gold and green. It also features teddy bears, along with butterflies.
The same neutral flannel is on the back. I had a 3 yard piece of flannel and quilted these quilts continuously. Scrappy binding is a great way to use up random leftover strips.
Side-by-side. ⤵️ I delivered these and 4 other blue baby quilts, made earlier in January, to Bundles of Love this week. πŸ’™ Linking up with Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

  2. With the cold weather you have been having you have the perfect thing to do...quilt of course! Do these quilts stay within the Cities area, how many do they go through each year?

  12. Great job on the baby quilts. I am redoing my Villa Rosa patterns in an effort to use up some scraps. I think this will work...but won't happen until after SAHRR. I do love that you crank these out...you are so prolific and generous.

  20. Lovely finishes. The VRD pattern works so well with scrappy look quilts and makes a perfect size. Putting flannel on as the backing is lovely, too. Great to be able to quilt them both together.
Everyone needs a quilt in your Winter weather!
