First 3 Finishes

I'm back to quilting and here are my first 3 finishes in 2026:
My Quilt Info #1:
Fabric: Parlor by Crystal Manning for Moda
Pattern: Confetti!, part of the Simply Charming Club by Me and My Sister Designs
Size: 22" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Slide ⤵️ from OESD
I like my table runners quilted super dense, to keep them flat and smooth on the table top.
This kit came with a charm pack in a cute pouch. ⤵️ I really fell for the charm pack! I swapped the off-white background that came in the kit for a whiter Grunge background.
This binding also came in the kit. ⤵️ I used some leftover 108" fabric for the backing.
The original pattern layout is a 36" square finished quilt. I reconfigured my blocks to fit my living room coffee table. ⤵️

I finished my 2025 Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilt in November, 2025. ⤵️ I took 2 rows off before quilting and set them aside.
I used those leftover blocks to make a baby version of my 9-Patch & Snowball RSC quilt. ⤵️
My Quilt Info #2:
Size: 42" x 55"
Pattern: 9-Patch & Snowball
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Baby Blue Eyes from My Creative Stitches
If you have a computerized longarm, I recommend getting this free pantograph, available for a limited time. Super cute!!!
I used half an IKEA duvet cover for backing. ⤵️ This print has a very Scandinavian feel!
A black & white striped binding always works well with a rainbow quilt.

Do you have some spare charm squares? This is the perfect pattern for a fast and fun charm square quilt, baby size and larger.
My Quilt Info #3:
Size: 40" x 52"
Charm Pack: Baby Boy by Lori Whitlock for Riley Blake Designs
Pattern: Charming Stacks from Sterling Quilt Co.
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Amoebas Gone Wild from Urban Elementz
This design was formerly called "Building Blocks" quilt pattern by Sterling Quilt Co. I made 2 "Building Blocks" baby quilts back in 2021. ⤵️ The designer has since renamed the pattern, "Charming Stacks".
Just start with one cute charm pack. I love how this charm pack is geared to a baby boy--no guesswork! I also bought the charm pack named, "Baby Girl". That will be a future quilt.
Baby animals, encouraging sayings, onesies, moon, stars, clouds and checks make up this baby boy collection. ⤵️
I combined these charm squares with a grey Grunge background. ⤵️
I used some extra soft, thick and fluffy Minkee for backing. ⤵️ This quilt is going to friends who recently welcomed a new baby boy to the family in Alaska.
Whenever I used Minkee on the back, I like to turn the back to the front for a soft and simple binding. ⤵️ This time I cut the Minkee at 1 1/4" from the edge of the quilt, folded over twice and stitched from the front.
I recommend this pattern for a fun, quick quilt!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  3. Those are three very nice finishes. I like the plushy backings for baby quilts; especially the way they show the quilting texture. Thanks for the tip for the free quilting design. I am going to look for it this morning!
