Splits

I made a table runner to brighten up these winter days!
My Quilt Info:
Fabrics: Pick Me! from Me and My Sister Designs
Pattern: Splits from Simply Charming Club by Me and My Sister Designs
Size: 20" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% White Cotton
Thread: Glide--White
Pantograph: Jessica's Vidalia ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
"Jessica's Vidalia" quilting, ⤴️⤵️ my husband's favorite, proportioned smaller for a table runner.
This pattern, "Splits", is part of the "Simply Charming Club". The kit includes a charm pack, background, binding and pattern, all in this nifty case! ⤵️ From Pine Needles Quilt and Sew in Rochester, MN.
The pattern is for a 24" x 27" quilt. I resized it to fit my coffee table--20" x 45". I added 9 blender charm squares to the charm pack. There was enough background and binding in the kit to accommodate the larger size.
It really brightens up the room during these short winter days. The name of the charm pack/fabric line is rather humorous--"Pick Me!"
The backing is this cute yardage I had in my collection. It goes well with the "happy" theme. ⤵️
Here's my coffee table in action--the top lifts to computer height, which is very convenient!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  21. That is a lovely table topper and, yes, a great way to brighten the day.
Just placing that small white strip between the HSTs makes a huge difference to the design. Cute bird backing, too. A lovely finish.
