I made two more quilts from the "Lavish" fabric line. Plus, I rediscovered a quilt. Scroll to the bottom to see all 7 quilts I made from "Lavish".
Pattern: Dominique from Villa Rosa Designs
Fabrics: Lavish from Katarina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabrics
Size: 37" x 50"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Blush
Flannel backing ⤵️
This is a great charm quilt pattern that requires 40 charms squares plus background. It worked out perfect for my leftover "Lavish" 5" squares!
My Lavish Quilt #6:
Pattern: Basket Case from Villa Rosa Designs
Fabrics: Lavish from Katarina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabrics
Size: 45" x 52"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Pink
More flannel backing ⤵️
This is a great pattern for using up those 2 1/2" scrap strips!
Now, don't be fooled--this quilt ⤴️ and this quilt ⤵️ might look like the same quilt at first glance, but they're not. They have many of the same fabrics. I recently came across this blog post of mine from June 2, 2020 and was reminded of another "Lavish" quilt I had made, which makes a total of 7 quilts I made from the "Lavish' fabric line.
Here are all seven. ⤵️ I do believe it stops here. Any leftover scraps now are minuscule. And all seven again, using another collage maker. ⤵️ I am partial to this fuchsia/turquoise color combo!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

Ha.... and yet again they look different. I think mostly due to color exclusion - no "greens" in the first one. And I agree with you, although I am not the biggest "green" lover - this "green"-fuchsia looks just awesome. xo
ReplyDeleteI really love that Lavish line, and you have such a sense of placement for your fabrics - they are both beautiful! It's amazing you got so many quilts from it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of quilts from one fabric line. I especially love the first 2 quilts
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving that turquoise-fuchsia combo as well. So pretty! Amazing how one collection can look so different across various quilts. You sure got a lot of quilts out of that fabric collection! Kudos to you. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

That's such a pretty fabric line! It's fun to see the different quilts you've made from it - each one is lovely. And the tulip quilting, Nancy - LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteneat fabric. your quilting looks great.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with the Lavish fabric line, but I googled it and see it was made by Art Gallery Fabrics. It’s very pretty. Did you buy precuts or yardage for all these quilts?
ReplyDeleteIt started out as a half yard bundle.
DeleteI am always stunned by your productivity. I have yet to finish my first quilt for 2026, though I am quilting it now and hope to have a finish in the next couple weeks. Someday I'd love to see a post from you about your fabric stash - pictures of how you store it, and the quantities you have. I think my sewing room isn't large enough for hold all the fabric you seem to have at your fingertips. :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors. I love pink.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt patterns are fantastic, too.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, Viola
You did a lot with that fabric line. I do not think of fuscia with tel, but you may be convincing me! I imagine you saw the free Urban Elements pattern this week (already on my prostitcher designs). It is always nice to add to the library. I do love the Basket Case pattern and how fun it is with the floral window pane panto!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think those seven quilts all started with a half yard bundle of fabrics! WOW! You can really stretch those bits! AMAZING!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteThe two new ones are great. Its cool to see all the ones you made with the same fabric line.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to rediscover a quilt you had almost forgotten ;) The seven designs are beautiful, it’s great to see the same fabric collection used throughout, yet with such different results. Well done! Floral Window Pane and Tulip Garden are cute! Thank you for sharing your seven quilts and linking up.
ReplyDeleteThose colors work so well and you've made such an array of quilts. Loving them all!
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly made the most of that fabric collection for your quilts. They all look great and it is fun to see the first ones you made.
ReplyDeleteThe two new ones make good use of the pieces left, and Basket Case has turned out to be very colorful. Yes, another great way to use the 2 1/2 in strips. I am building quilt a collection of those.
Great job, Nancy. Not only are you using up leftovers but you are also making gorgeous quilts. Bravo! ;^)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so cute, Nancy! Terrific use of your fabric bundle! 🐝
ReplyDeleteNancy, I see again your quatro quilt that I really like. I have tried several times to find the pattern on the internet without any luck. Have you any ideas where I may find the pattern? I would be willing to buy yurs if you are willing to part with it. Just another quilter, Barb K.
ReplyDeleteQuatro is available for purchase on Keera Job Design Studio's Etsy page: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4426090574/quatro-quilt-pattern-pdf-intermediate?etsrc=sdt
DeleteLate to the party, but I am so in love with the Lavish fabrics I had to comment! Katarina has a good eye for the aqua/raspberry combo; I have made a quilt and still have stash from that. collection I am seriously seeing if I can find more Lavish and make a quilt with both lines.
ReplyDeleteEven later to the party! But it is definitely worth seeing all of these quilts. These are wonderful quilts. This post also shows how different the same fabric line looks like in different quilts and using different pieces of the line. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great. I love this fabric line and I, too, am partial to the truquoise and fuchsia! Great job. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.
