I recently watched "Stitch With Rachel" on YouTube, who has an adorable leaders and enders project that she's been working on for a year, making hundreds of mini "Plus" blocks from 1 1/2" strips! I happen to have a lot of 1 1/2" scrap strips and love "Plus" blocks, so I decided to make a few myself!
Twenty-one to be exact. I'm making them as part of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, starting this month with purple.
They don't take much fabric. I'm going to need another strategy to use up my 1 1/2" strips. But I'm going to make these, too, because they're so cute!!! They finish at 3".

After making a few blocks, I modified the block to eliminate 2 of the seams. The top two blocks below are made the way Rachel made all of hers. The bottom 2 blocks below are the blocks where I eliminated two of the seams.
