Kay's Kwilt

Kay made this beautiful quarter square log cabin quilt!

On the bars:

The quilting is "Americana Flourish" in Light Tan Glide thread. She found this extra-wide backing at Quilt Cove.

She decided not to put black around the left and bottom sides in order to keep the integrity of the quarter square log cabin blocks.

Beautiful quilt, Kay!!! Keep on quilting!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. I love it when a simple quilt design is matched up with great fabrics and creates such a dynamic quilt! This is just lovely, and the quilting really lets the design take center stage. Nicely done!

  3. Oh I love it! I absolutely love log cabins, and the color placement really makes everything pop. And my ... it looks so perfectly straight on your machine. My quilts never look so straight on my longarm.

  4. Log cabins are my favorite and I am developing a strong attachment to half cabins. This one is superb. Great job on the quilting.
