🍯Honey Bouquet💐

Honey Bouquet is a Villa Rosa pattern that comes on a postcard:

This pattern is fat quarter friendly, or you can use stash. On the design wall:

I quilted it with "Calder", which is named for Alexander Calder, an artist known for his mobiles. You can see examples here.

This backing came from IKEA. It was a special purchase, prepackaged cut of fabric 60" X 120":

And a larger view of the back, taken at IKEA, where it was purchased:

I quilted a Honey Bouquet quilt for my sister last year. Here's her version:

And a final shot, also taken at IKEA:

This is another quilt headed to camp for teen foster children.

  19. Love this. So simple but totally effective. Same thoughts on an IKEA shoot.... what a great, slightly cheeky idea! And green is the colour of the moment..... that makes it a Colour & Inspiration trifecta!
