๐ŸŒŸ Seeing Stars Sew-Along ๐ŸŒŸ

This is a surprise, so don't tell! I made this quilt from reproduction fabrics for my Mom's 91st birthday, coming up on December 2nd. Mom loves everything blue & white and antique, so when Mandi Persell announced a sew-along on Instagram, I thought it was the perfect timing to make a new quilt for my Mom.

Mandi set out our schedule and has had weekly prizes:

I won the week 3 drawing--a navy Splash Olfa rotary cutter, Stash 'n Store Mini and a Ruler Pal Mini!!!

#quiltswirl:

The pattern calls for 16 blocks. Since I wanted a twin size quilt, 12 blocks was enough, and I finished 2 weeks early. That left me enough time to get it quilted and bound:

An antique-y quilt calls for feathers!

Quilt Info:
Pattern: Seeing Stars by Primrose Cottage Quilts
Size: 60" X 81"
Quilting: Chocolate Swirl Feathers
Batting: Quilter's Dream Batting 80/20, natural
Thread: Glide Sky Blue
Backing: Pieced from stash
Interesting Facts: 1. Mandi even designed t-shirts with this quilt block--see them here. I bought the raspberry one! 2. Subscribe to the Primrose Cottage Quilts newsletter and receive a free pattern on the second Friday of every month, typically table runners or small quilts--super cute!!!

You can check out everyone's sew-along progress on Instagram at #seeingstarssal.

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
