Here's another quilt I made for Jack's Basket!!!
Size: 40" X 40"
Batting: Quilters Dream Bamboo
Thread: Glide--Cream
Quilting: Don Quixote from My Creative Stitches--free through 4/13/21!!!
Interesting Info: Jack's Basket asks for 36" square quilts in order for their baskets to fit in a shipping box. My quilt started out 40" square after piecing. It shrunk a bit with quilting, and I'll run it through the washer and dryer before taking it to Jack's Basket. It should be down to about the right size by then.
I have enough of this backing for one more baby quilt! ⤵️

Another sweet quilt! The motif you used to quilt it is really cool. I have soooo many charm squares - I should make something like this as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of charm packs, and your quilting is pretty! Another beautiful baby quilt for Jack's Basket.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quilt and the border fabric makes it shine!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice quilting, on a quilt for such a good cause!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quilting pattern and a motif combination for a wonderful cause!
ReplyDeleteBright and cozy, that's the ticket! Your border ties it all together and it's fun to browse all the different charm squares!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a great use of multi colored seemingly unrelated charms. I like the red diagonal that ties in with the reddish border! Good design work, I’d say! And the backing! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteDonation quilts are such a great way to use up some scraps. This is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
Love your charms, and the little quilt is so cute.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and sew on !
That new Don Quixote design looks great on a simple charm square quilt!
ReplyDeleteI put that one in my basket when I bought one of the others on sale last week...trying to collect very usable pantos. Love this and of course your quilting. It will be very close to 36" square, another perfect donation.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've tied all these fabrics in together. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe new design looks great. I downloaded it but haven’t transferred it to
ReplyDeleteMy machine yet. I was wondering about the size of your little quilts as I thought they liked smaller quilts. I seldom wash my quilts before donating but I think I will when I send some to Jack’s basket. It sounds like you can personally deliver yours to them. That’s super.
