Do you recognize this quilt block, the logo quilt block of Missouri Star Quilt Co.?!!⤵️
Quilt Info:
Maker: Missy
Pattern: Missouri Star Quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company
Fabrics: Aged Muslin by Marcus Fabrics
Size: 69" X 92"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 Natural
Thread: Glide--Cream
Quilting: Harbor by Leisha Farnsworth at Urban Elementz
Interesting Info: This is a free pattern and video from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Missy made this using leftover scraps of Aged Muslin. She made a Stargazing BOM, link here, using Aged Muslin, so I can imagine a lot of those leftovers went into this quilt. She will hang this on a wall or put it on a twin bed!
The quilting is "Harbor"!⤴️ Computer set-up of Harbor:⤵️
And a close-up look at a block!⤵️
Here it is, stretched out on a bed in our guest room of faith!!!⤵️And a close-up look at a block!⤵️
For backing, Missy provided "Sunflower Whispers" a digitally printed extra-wide back made by Benartex. Isn't it pretty?!! ⤴️⤵️
Missy, this quilt is truly beautiful!!! Keep on quilting!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

Love that quilt and the pattern you used....going on my list of patterns for someday.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Always nice to see a quilt made with leftover fabrics from a previous quilt. Wonderful quilting. I love the blue sunflower fabric on the back. I am going to have to find some of this fabric. This is Mr. Scrapatches' favorite color blue. Thank you for sharing in my linky party ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteSpectacular!
ReplyDeleteI hope Missy shares a photo or two with MSQC. It's a beauty worth sharing! Nice quilting, too! It looks great on your guest bed!
ReplyDeleteI like the aged muslin fabrics and the classic quilt design. Your quilting pattern looks very complicated. It is the right compliment! Very pretty. Good job Nancy and Missy.

I knew I recognized the block and now I know why! Love these pretty stars. I love that backing fabric, I just finished a quilt that uses the same wide back but in green--it's so pretty! I have grand plans for the leftovers of that fabric :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilting design to complement the Missouri Star quilt. I love it, and I love seeing how you set the design up in your computer as well. :-)
ReplyDeleteOH your quilting is beautiful - really makes the quilt ! Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting! This made a lovely quilt. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteThe Aged Muslin is one of my favorite fabric collection, 2 quilts made with it under my belt. She did a good job with fabric placement. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.
