Here's another baby quilt for Jack's Basket!!!
Pattern: A Little Heat Wave by Orange Dot Quilts
Size: 40" X 40"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Mint
Quilting: Garland from My Creative Stitches
Interesting Info: I fell in love with this pattern and made it on a whim, AKA, a squirrel project! It takes 5 half yards of fabric. Here is my fabric selection, cut up and ready to sew:
The quilting is "Garland", a sweet leafy berry design: ⤴️⤵️
The binding is made from extra strips of the five fabrics:⤵️

ReplyDeleteYou’ve been really busy. This is a lovely quilt. I like the idea of a pattern that uses half yard pieces. I used to buy mostly that size. I’ve branched out now but have a lot of half yards left. I’ll check out the pattern.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. I'm sure someone will treasure it.
