I made 6 myself and quilted one each for my sister and my quilting cousin. These are the perfect size for trying out different quilting pantographs, and I had a lot of fun doing just that!!!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Me!!!
Standard Size: 12" X 32"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--various
Interesting Info: This is a "bonus quilt"--made from the leftover strips, after cutting out our Strippy Stairways and Jewel quilts.
My first one is made with "Weather Report" fabric line. The quilting is Chestnut Swirls 1 from Intelligent Quilting. ⤵️
Below is a fabric line called "Passion", for the Passion Flower print. I quilted it with Beleaf It Or Not from Longarm League. ⤵️
This is the "Celestial" fabric line, quilted for my cousin with Paradoxical from Longarm League. ⤵️
Another "Passion" version, quilted for my sister, with Monstera from Dastardly Line. ⤵️
From "Feathered Nest" fabric line, and quilted with Indian Feathers from Intelligent Quilting. ⤵️Here's my "Celestial" version, quilted with Boardwalk from Intelligent Quilting. ⤵️
This fabric line is "Saguaro", swapped from my quilting cousin. There was extra in this bundle so I made both a table runner and a table center. The table center ⤵️ is quilted with Paisley Swirls from Intelligent Quilting.
This longer "Saguaro" version is quilted with Simply Braided 2 from Simply Fabulous Quilting. ⤵️The following five minis can be called "Bonus Bonus Quilts", as they are made from the last little bits of cut offs from the Strippy Dippy table runners!!!! They range in size from 6" x 8" to 9" x 11"-the perfect size for decorating my studio walls!
The quilting designs are: Rondelle from Urban Elementz, Mike's Swoosh from Intelligent Quilting, Bangkok from Urban Elementz, Simplier Contours from Dastardly Line, and Swivel Circle 2 from Intelligent Quilting. ⤵️
One more thing I'd like to mention, Jessica over @ QuiltdStudios had a "Big V-Stitch" live tutorial and Stitch Along. She taught us how to finish the hand sewing part of the binding with a V-Stitch using Pearl Cotton. Jessica does hers on the back, but seeing as the back side will rarely be seen on my table runner, table center and mini, I did my V-Stitches on the front! ⤵️
This concludes my quilts from Gudrun @ GE Designs' virtual quilt retreat in March this year. I made two throw quilts, five table runners, a table center and 5 bonus mini quilts!!! I'm looking forward to joining again next year!!!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
