Sue, Bonnie and I all made a Strippy Stairways quilt during the GE Designs March virtual retreat! I quilted Sue's just like mine, with Blender, because I love how it looks on my Strippy Stairways! I quilted Bonnie's Strippy Stairways with Rosemary, to complement the leafy fabrics she used!Interesting Info: This pattern was originally exclusive to the virtual retreat. But it will be included in Gudrun's new book, Stripology Mixology 3, available this fall!
This pattern is jelly roll friendly, or cut 2 1/2" strips using your Stripology Ruler, as we did!!!
For backing, Sue used this Sarah Fielke print called "Word Play"!!! ⤵️

Sue and I both made our Strippy Stairways larger than the original retreat pattern. But Gudrun will have several size options in her new book, as she usually does!
Looks great, Sue!!! I love Strippy Stairways in Zen Chic Celestial fabrics!!!Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

Sue did a fabulous job with this and I love the backing. Blender is perfect on this quilt. I did preorder Stripology 3 when I did the Kimberly sew along....need to get back to that soon!
