On June 29, 2023, Gudrun of GE Designs had a "quickie quilt along", featuring her new pattern, Koby, a fast, fun pattern that showcases your favorite prints! In case you missed the QAL, her teaching video is now included in the purchase of the pattern!
I have seven of them to share with you today, made by my friend, my sister and myself! The first five are made by Lynn!!! She is quite the expert Koby quilter--she previously made 5 other baby sized Koby quilts--find them here.

I love the Koby pattern. I never know what to do with a mix of fabrics; especially ones that are prettiest cut into large pieces. Every one always looks great. I've made 2 and it is soon to be my go-to fav quick quilt to make. Love all your pantos. I quilt on a sit down so it takes me long ......... er .
ReplyDeleteI can see how that quilt design goes together quickly - what a fun group of quilts!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty. It was loads of fun seeing how you quilted each one also.
ReplyDeleteI love quilts like this that let the fabric print shine. Big fan of Zen Chic here too!
ReplyDeleteI'm blown away by the number of quilts the collective you pieced and you personally quilted. The circles on circles quilting motif caught my eye. At first I thought you had to break thread constantly. Then I noticed the "swoop" joining one circle set to the other.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, versatile design! Wow! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this pattern has been a great inspiration for all of you, and each of you has adapted it wonderfully to your choice of fabrics, colors, and mood! I love all the versions, and the quilting patterns very much adapted to each one. Clever way to make the queen size version too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your wonderful work, and linking up.
What a fun mix of fabrics! It is fun to see how different each quilt looks when using the same pattern. I like the sunflower patch pantograph on the last quilt. Such wonderful finishes!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilts! They are perfectly enhanced by your quilting. Lovely work!
ReplyDeleteWht fun to see them in so many colorways!!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun to see so many variations of the same pattern. Your quilting really augments each one of these quilts. I need to check out some of these quilting designers/locations.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so wonderful! I especially love the first one :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a haul! You did a fabulous job with each quilt and the designs chosen for them. Perfection. :) Thank you for sharing them in this week's Sew & Tell party.
ReplyDeleteWow, you ladies were busy. They all look great!
ReplyDeleteSEVEN of them?! I know you didn’t piece all of them yourself but still impressive that you quilted all of them, selecting the perfect panto to bring out the personality of all the different fabrics. I especially love that Dimples panto on your quilt. The texture and dimension it creates are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThese quilts are all awesome! I love how you do the quilting - each one is unique!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you three had a blast with this fun pattern. Your quilting is fabulous, as always, Nancy! Thanks for sharing on Monday Musings.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning! I've been enjoying your (new to me) blog this morning with my coffee and all of your eye candy! My two favourite quilts are both by GE Designs (Velocity and Koby) and I'd like to make both. Have a wonderful Sunday.
