A close-up of the truck, which Sheila designed herself and hand appliquéd, and the frog truck driver, which Sheila paper pieced. Each block is pieced with great detail in choice of prints and embroidered embellishments!!!⤵️
These chicks are especially petite and adorable!!! And we all love the quilt on the horse!!!⤵️Sheila made the flowers half size.⤵️ Check out the details on that scarecrow!
Everyone who's been quilting since the 90s will recognize this Debbie Mumm print Sheila used for her backing!⤵️

ReplyDeleteMy grandson has almost all those Little Blue Truck books and loves them especially the rhyming patterns. Now that he is in 2nd grade he can read them easily, too. But that quilt is amazing and the pieced animals are too! Your swirls are perfect for the finish!
