This is 1 of 2 "Little Quilts" panels that Rose @SomethingRoseMade gave me. Do you remember Little Quilts? They published books in the late 1980s and 1990s. I have several of their books.

The back is a calico-ish fabric, an older piece from my collection. The binding is a calico heart print!⤵️
This is entirely a panel! All I had to do was load, quilt and bind!!!
Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Susan
Size: 42" x 45"

Susan started with a cute woodland animals print and added a solid and a blender. She patterned her quilt after a Minkee quilt pattern, using quilting cottons instead. She did use a Minkee for the back!⤵️
The newborn little one's name is Lucien, a French boy's name meaning "light'. How beautiful is that?!!

You have been busy, Nancy. What darling mini quilts by you and Susan. It is hard to believe that 2 of them were panels. Oh yes, I loved Little Quilts. I went to their shop in the 90's . The shop was as cute as their quilts and books. Happy quilting. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love your minis, pretty quilts and quilting. The panel is very cute! Fun Mountain quilting pattern, perfect for a mountain newborn!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mistakes = More Quilts. I love the precision in your piecing. Excellent workmanship, Nancy!
