Lil' Bundle Club

Goody's Lil' Bundle Club is a new fabric subscription from GE Designs! Every other month one gets a coordinated set of 12 fabrics, sized 6" x 22". All 12 pieces together equals one yard, with great variety!
Quilt Info:
Size:19" x 39"
Pattern: Traveling Table Topper from Rayche Gurl Designs of The Noble Quilter
Fabrics: Calixta by Christiane Marques for Robert Kaufman
Batting: Quilters Dream--Poly
Thread: Glide--Pink
Pantograph: Amoeba ⤵️ from Karlee Porter
This is a fun, modern quilting design, "Amoeba", from Karlee Porter!⤴️⤵️
I used a Tula Pink fabric for the backing.⤵️
The Calixta prints have a beautiful watercolor look that are digitally printed.
I really didn't want to cut these cute prints up into quilt blocks, so this pattern of simple squares on point was the perfect solution! ⤵️ The pattern was designed for the Minnesota Quilt Shop Hop last summer, when I picked it up from The Noble Quilter.
The beauty of Gudrun's Lil' Bundles is that when cut into 5" squares, you get a total of 48-5" squares, as opposed to 42-5" squares in a charm pack. Plus, there's no white background squares mixed in that don't work with many patterns.
Or you can cut the 6" x 22" strips into 2 1/2" strips, 1 1/2" strips, or any size you want.
Each bundle is a surprise! A new bundle comes out every other month. I just picked up my second bundle yesterday. But, we're asked not to post it on social media until everyone has a chance to receive theirs, and Gudrun introduces it on her YouTube channel, on Tuesday, June 10th. Needless to say, the next bundle is once again adorable!!!
Be on the watch for another table runner using Lil' Bundle number 2 in the near future!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. What a pretty runner! I have become addicted to GE's patterns and fabrics, and it seems that AI has picked up on that and I see ads on Facebook and IG constantly. And it's OK with me - lol! I look forward to seeing the newest bundle.

  2. That bundle sure made a wonderful table runner. I like the no white and the amount of 5 inch squares that the bundle yielded. I too look forward to seeing the newest bundle!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects

  8. Aaaw your tablerunner is adorable, Nancy. Love the colors in this one. It is sometimes hard to cut fabrics. This was the perfect design to show off the fabrics.

  9. That is an interesting way to try out new fabric. And sometimes it is good to see something you may not normally choose.
Your table runner was a lovely way to use these pieces.

  13. It seems you're a die-hard Gudrun fan! :-) Looks like fun, anticipating the arrival of a pretty new bundle of fabrics each month. I'd participate if I could turn fabric into quilts as efficiently as you do! The Amoeba design is really pretty. Every time I see a longarm design, I think, "Could I do that on my domestic?" This one looks beyond my capabilities. But I have a good resource for designs - Esther Frenzel - who pubishes them on her blog and YouTube channel. That's my go-to place for something I (that's a boldface "I") can do. (smile). In any case, your table runner is very pretty. Good for you to continue to pursue and master quiltmaking. Your results are incomparable!

  14. It is a wonderful blend of colors and prints. That pink border wraps it all up like a bright bow on a package. Thank you for sharing in Sew & Tell. I noticed your Grace & Peace label. Where do you get those made?

  17. Neat idea to get small pieces of coordinating fabric -- bigger than jelly rolls or charms but not huge amounts.

  18. Oh boy, so much good stuff here! Wow, a stunning runner and I've always loved that Tula Pink fabric you used on the back. I really like the idea of that bundle subscription and the versitility of the cut offered. Will have to check that out since I'll bet it also works well with her patterns. Great pantograph too! Now that I know how to add them to my MIL's long arm computer, I might pick that one up. Also loving your dough bowl! I purchased one very similar last year in the hopes of one day having enough little cross stitch pieces to display in it. Look forward to seeing the next runner!!
