One of my favorite parts of quilting is cutting up fabric! I just got my Famore 60mm rotary cutter from Linda's and I love it! That, plus the Stripology Ruler, makes cutting fabric fast and fun!!! I went through some of my scraps recently and cut them up. I'm using my favorite Villa Rosa Designs pattern--Honey Bouquet, and have downsized it here to baby quilt size.
Here are 3 that have orange in them, for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month, orange!!!
Size:36" x 45"
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Batting: Quilters Dream--Supreme
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush

This quilt is a combo of orange and blue scraps!
The backing fabric is from a twin-sized duvet cover from IKEA, called Kransmalva. I bought it on clearance for $17.99 and it's enough fabric to back 4 baby quilts, plus the pillowcase is big enough to back a table runner! ⤴️ For binding, I used the cut-offs from the backing--makes it simple!
Quilt Info #2:
Size: 36" x 45"
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Batting: Quilters Dream--80/20
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush
This version is a combo of orange and pink scraps! I found an orange and pink fabric in my collection for the binding, also.
More of that IKEA duvet cover on the back! It's very dramatic!!!⤵️Love that hot air balloon print! And the Hello Kitty print from Japan!!!⤵️
Quilt Info #3:
Size: 36" x 45"
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Batting: Quilters Dream--100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush
This version is a combo of orange and yellow scraps!
This grey solid backing is also from IKEA, sold as a 3.25 yard cut of fabric, 60" wide. The extra width is perfect to back a baby quilt--no piecing!!! I can get 2 1/2 backings for baby quilts out of each cut.A fun new pantograph!!! "Arbor Ridge"⤴️
These are my third, fourth and fifth Honey Bouquet baby quilts! Watch for more of these scrappy baby quilts as my time allows!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
