RSC πŸ’›

The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for August is yellow. My RSC goal this year is to whittle down my stack of 5" scrap charm squares by turning them into baby quilts, 9 squares across by 11 squares down, therefore "99 Charms" quilts. Here are five yellow 99 Charms quilts I made for August.
My Quilt Info #1:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 40" x 51"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Cornflower
Pantograph: Tilted Sunny Clam ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Pantos
Sunny quilting for a sunny quilt! Angela mentioned that one probably doesn't want to make an all yellow quilt, but here it is! I did include a number of accent colors in many of the yellow squares.
There are a number of Japanese fabrics thrown in here, also.
This penguin backing is part of an IKEA duvet cover, twin size, on clearance for $13.99. It backed 3 baby quilts. ⤵️
My Quilt Info #2:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 40" x 51"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Cornflower
Pantograph: Summer Solstice ⤵️ from Digital Longarm
I pretty much split my stack of yellow related charm squares into 2 groupings. This is the 2nd quilt I worked on.
Another sunny quilting design! ⤴️
A blender for binding.
This sweet Mr. & Mrs. Bear backing is another IKEA duvet cover! I paid $19.99, but since then they've marked it down for clearance. I backed 3 baby quilts with the twin size.
My Quilt Info #3:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 40" x 51"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Cornflower
Pantograph: Honeycomb with Bees ⤵️ from My Creative Stitches
At this point I ran across a baggie full of 200 more yellow charm squares! They were a product of a charm swap a number of years ago that I had forgotten about.
The quilting here is honeycomb with bees. ⤴️
Mr. and Mrs. Bear again--some of the Mrs. are carrying a green handbag!
My Quilt Info #4:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 40" x 51"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Azure
Pantograph: Floral Garden ⤵️ from Karlee Porter
I split the rest of the yellow charms in half and combined these with some blue charms.
More of those IKEA duvet cover penguins!

Making these baby quilts give me a chance to use a variety of quilting designs. I love this "Floral Garden" quilting!
My Quilt Info #5:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 40" x 51"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Cornflower
Pantograph: Figure 8 ⤵️ from Digital Longarm
At this point I had 50 yellow charms left, so I cut up some of my fat quarters that were chopped in to, to round up to 99 charms for one more quilt.
My friend said if she could just do one pantograph for the rest of her life it would be Baptist Fan. For me, if I could just do one pantograph for the rest of my life it would be Figure 8s! I love the rhythm of Figure 8s! ⤴️
There are plenty of gold and brown squares thrown in there, too!
Mr. and Mrs. Bear fit in perfect here, too!
I started out with two yellow quilts in mind. It turned into five!
