Carpenter's Star & Baby Quilts

Karen and Missy have been busy making quilts and I had the privilege of quilting them!
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Karen
Pattern: Carpenter's Star by Debbie Maddy
Size: 71" x 71"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Alouette ⤵️ from Totally Quilted
I did this feather quilting, "Alouette" on a Missy baby quilts recently and the beauty of those feathers has been on my mind, so I used it on Karen's quilt now!
Check out the border fabric. ⤴️ Karen fell in love with this print and the colors and bought several yards during a store closing sale.
This is Karen's second Carpenter's Star, and it's a bonus quilt, made mostly from scraps she had on hand.
Those feathers!!!
Beautiful quilt!!! Karen is keeping it on hand to gift as the need arises!
Here's a reminder of what Karen's first Carpenter's Star looked like.⤵️
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Missy
Size: 35" x 40"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton, White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Baby Blue Eyes ⤵️ from My Creative Stitches
Missy has a lot of new babies in her family! These two quilts are for a great-niece and a great-nephew who are first cousins, if you can wrap your head around that bit of family tree!
This pinwheel quilt, made from a gingham and flowers charm pack, is for the girl. Missy chose "Baby Blue Eyes" for the quilting.
More dainty flowers on the back, too! ⤴️ Lovely quilt, Missy!
Quilt Info #3:
Maker: Missy
Size: 42" x 42"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton, White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Triplet ⤵️ from Ambling Vines
Missy chose "Triplet" for the baby boy quilt, a design that looks great on just about any quilt!
Missy made this quilt from leftover bits of the "Sweet Ride" collection, by Laundry Basket Quilts, a very "baby boy" fabric line, with lots of cars and zoom!
Clever birds as backing!
Two cute cousin quilts! Be on the lookout for another baby quilt coming up from Missy!
