Quilt Info:
Size: 73" X 73"
Fabrics: On Meadowlark Pond from Moda
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Khaki
Quilting: Feathered Frond ⤵️ from Willow Leaf Studio
Interesting Info: Michelle made this antique-looking quilt from a Moda kit: Meadowlark's Song. The quarantine gave her time to get the top finished and out to the quilter--me!
The two alternating blocks ⤵️
The selvage on the backing fabric identified it as a "Kansas Troubles Quilters" print. The quilting really shows up on it!!! ⤵️ Watch for another of Michelle's quilts coming up this month!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

That is really pretty and the quilt design is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is one gorgeous quilt and Michelle should be proud. I love that the quilting mimics that green fabric. It is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen that pattern before, very pretty. I like that little neutral border, it makes it look like lace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! And I really love the quilting you did! That is a great pattern for this quilt! Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like this quilt! I even ordered the pattern for it. And, of course, your quilting was perfect for the style. Well done all the way around!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt. Love the design and the fabrics and the quilting is gorgeous. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose second blocks made me think they were appliqué on. But taking a good close look I realized they were pieced. Lovely quilt and super quilting. And, yes that backing really lets the quilting shine. Great job by both of you!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Nancy! Thanks for including the close up photos to show the piecing lines. I would never have guessed this was a straight setting with just two blocks alternating!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely finish.
ReplyDeleteAnd your quilting shows up beautifully on the backing.
Oh that is pretty - but I think that border treatment - the pearl looking blocks are super cool!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quilting design.
ReplyDeleteOh yes that is a beautiful finish but by you both. The back of a quilt is always my favorite and this is just stunning.
