🎼This Is My Song🎶

Here's a new wall hanging I made for my Mom recently!!!Quilt Info
Maker: Me!
Gift for: My Mom!!!
Fabrics: Songbook from Fancy That Design House for Moda
Size: 14" X 20"
Batting: Quilters Dream Poly
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Fancy Schmancy from Karlee Porter Interesting Info: I made this to hang by my Mom's door, as she walks into her room at her assisted living home. We love these old hymns. You can't help but start singing them in your head when you see the words! Please pray for my Mom, age 92, as she, and 3 others in her home have covid now. There seems to be a shortage on the infusion IV that can decrease the symptoms. After a lot of time and effort my sister has secured an IV appointment for her. We are hopeful.

Update: Thank you to everyone who prayed for my Mom. She did survive covid. She got a lot better after having the Monoclonal Antibody Infusion. Unfortunately, 97 year old Charlotte, across the hall from my Mom did not survive. Two other women in their house of 6 survived, plus the CNA who got it. Again, thank you for your prayers. Mom was touched that so many were praying for her.
Every yard should have a wagon wheel, right?!!!Close-up of binding and backing ⤵️I gave this to my Mom at a birthday celebration we had recently at the Waffle Bar in Lakeville, MN. These were pretty decadent and fun!!! ⤵️

  7. I'll sure keep your mom in my prayers! That pretty wall hanging immediately made me start humming that hymn. LOL I'm a Minnesota native, but haven't driven through Lakeville in years. I might have to make a detour for a waffle cone next time I visit family however!!

  12. I am sorry to hear about your Mother and others at the carecenter. I pray they are all okay and able to get the infusion IV. I also love the hymns we would have every time we were at church. I remember the words better to the old songs than the new ones today. They bring comfort and joy to me. Blessing over the care center and hope all are recovering.
