✸Autumn Stars✸

Check out this beauty Missy made from leftover scraps!!!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Missy
Pattern: Autumn Stars from Missouri Star Quilt Company
Size: 63" X 75"
Fabrics: various lines from Edyta Sitar and French General
Thread: Glide--Creme
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Quilting: Feathered Spirals from Longarm League
Interesting Info: Missy made this quilt from leftover 2 1/4" strips. The pattern calls for 2 1/2" strips, so she did some quilt math and made the pattern work for her!
This quilt called for whimsical feathers, so I quilted it with "Feathered Spirals":⤴️⤵️ 
For backing, Missy used this beautiful toile print, which she pieced with her signature invisible piecing! Look carefully for the seam!⤵️

    What a pretty quilt, and that backing fabric is gorgeous (no, I couldn't find the seam)! Missy needs to start a blog, I think!

    So pretty!! You get some of the best quilts to quilt. I have freehanded a design similar to that and it gives such nice texture.

    I love to use toiles for backings. I always do the invisible seam technique. In fact I have been working on a quilt with multiple toile borders, so I have had to match the seams on the borders as well. This quilt is beautiful. It has inspired me to make a scrappy version for my daughter.

      Thank you! I would love to know your technique for matching the print - I just sort of wing it and hope for the best, and am always happy when it works out!! Toile is my favorite!
