🍬Dandy Candy🍬

Squirrel project alert! I made a table runner!!!
Quilt Info:
Pattern: Dandy Candy by Pieced Tree Patterns
Fabrics: Pinkerville by Tula Pink
Size: 12" X 37"
Thread: Glide--Mint
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Quilting: Figure 8 Panto from Intelligent Quilting
Interesting Info: I had totally forgotten I had this fabric, until I recently ran across it in a hidden project box! I cut out a throw size quilt and then I made this table runner from some of the leftover charm squares. My Quiltin' Cousin Sue, gave me this pattern for Christmas, along with some fabrics to make a runner. Look for another table runner in the future!
This quilting, Figure 8 Panto, is an undulating figure 8 design: ⤵️
For backing, I used a fabric called "Giggles", from the 200 yen bin at Yuzawaya! ⤵️
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. So pretty!! Fun little project to squeeze between the others. Love seeing the snow - we are having weirdly warm weather and it doesn't feel like January.

  2. What a fabulous table runner! I LOVE the choice of Mint for the quilting thread, too. I know you mentioned this was a charm square pattern, but I'm saving the idea for a possible way to use up the overly-abundant leftover strips from my pineapple log cabin bed quilt. Maybe I could make a long runner for my dresser or something?

  5. Hoooooo, pretty!! I love the fabrics, and the quilting loops are great! Good idea to use a blue-mint thread, it shows nicely yet stay discret. Beautiful runner!
    Thank you for sharing ;)

  17. This is a terrific runner and I am sooo tempted to DrEAMi! I have to tame my strings this year, and have two RSC projects that use them, but you know how it goes with using up scraps...they never seem to go down!
