🌇Urban🌆Baby🌃

Quilt Info:
Pattern: Urban Baby by Valori Wells for Robert Kaufman
Size: 48 1/2" X 48 1/2" before quilting, 47 1/4" X 47 1/4" after quilting, 45 1/4 X 45 1/4" after washing and drying--it shrunk 3 1/4" both ways with quilting, washing and drying
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Medium Tan
Quilting: Swivel Circle 2 from Intelligent Quilting
Interesting Info: I love the random look of this free baby quilt pattern! Once I cut out the 20 different fabrics and had them on my design wall, there was some swapping, rearranging and recutting that happened, when similar fabrics landed next to each other.
Love this new-to-me quilting: Swivel Circle 2: ⤴️⤵️
For backing, I pieced together two Japanese prints: ⤵️
This is my first "Resolution Quilt" for 2021, and will be going to our neighbor's first grandchild, Leo!!!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  15. This is really a fun little quilt - gonna check it out. I have a bounty of batiks someone gave me...this might work for them....mostly in blues. Might be too subtle, but I will check it out. Love the quilting design. Leo’s quilt has the perfect range of colors for a young cub.
