⬣⬡⬢ Vintage Sampler Quilt ⬣⬡⬢

My neighbor, Patty, made this sampler quilt top in class at a local quilt shop, in 1982!!!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Patty
Size: 62" X 83"
Batting: Quilters Dream Bamboo
Thread: Glide--Creme
Quilting: Baptist Fan from Three Sisters Fabric
Interesting Info: Patty ran across this UFO recently and decided to get it quilted and give it to her daughter, who was 2 years old at the time she made it!

I took a class at the same quilt shop in 1981 and made a similar sampler quilt! This is the same quilt shop I work at part-time, although the shop has changed locations, owners and names!
To go with the vintage vibes, I quilted Patty's quilt with traditional Baptist fans:
Patty pieced each of these blocks by hand!
The entire quilt is made from one solid and three prints, a dark, medium and light, as was done in beginning quilt making classes 38 years ago. The backing is this tiny calico, also used in each of the blocks and for the outer border.⤵️
I love that it's finally going to be finished, Patty! Your daughter will love it, vintage vibes and all!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
